Our Vision and Mission |
The founder of this College, Bishop Michael Arattukulam was a great visionary who Visualized the improvement of the educational Standards of this area by making this institution the epicenter of development by providing affordable education to the masses. He also envisaged an ambitious future for this institution in keeping abreast with the scientific and technological developments and social changes. The narrow strip of land between the Arabian Sea and the Vembanad Lake, Known formerly as Karappuram, which the College serves, has a population, historically stratified into different sub levels of educational attainments and socio- economic standards. Hence the College takes upon itself two-fold responsibility of achieving individual and collective development of the population as a whole on the one hand, and of securing the educational advancement of the backward and marginalized sections of the community on the other. National development is envisioned through the uplift of the society in the coastal areas of the district by imparting knowledge and inculcating values, moral and ethical, to mould responsible citizens with merit land calibre. |
The College aims at delivering quality education for the integrated development of the personality of each individual student entrusted to its care. The proper integration of the theoretical knowledge land practical training which the University education envisage is modulated by moral values so that a homogeneous society upholding faith in God, democratic values and dignity of the human individual may emerge. This should in turn lead to a qualitative transformation of the society as a whole with emphasis on the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man. College Anthem |
Hail to thee St, Michael Archangel
Besides your presence
Are powerless
The powers of evil We are all searching
And our hearts yearning
For the whispering word of wisdom
Deep in our minds
Kindle the light
Of truth and justice
To dispel all the darkness
Engulfing the world Help us to sail
And be our navigator
All through the rough seas
In our lives
Helping us sail to
Heavenly shores of wisdom
Heavenly people sail to
Heavenly shores of wisdom
